Film Festival

Announcing the Inaugural
RIVER CITY SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
18/19/20 October 2002
To be held at the Wanganui Function & Conference Centre Wanganui Racecourse. Festival activities include; workshops in non-linear editing, new technology film equipment and SPFX; lectures by high profile film industry figures; family entertainment; a special programme of films at the Embassy 3 Cinema; and a Hangi. Finalists in the Competition will have their films shown continuously throughout the Festival, with Awards and Prizes being presented at the Official Dinner.

Film Competition

The Competition is open to 'NZ Made' short films of max 7 minute duration, shot on any medium and submitted on VHS for preliminary judging. Finalists will need to submit a dupe master in any format. Entries must be in by August 30 2002. Please see Rules and Conditions
